BMW and MINI for fhempy
Plug-inUse BMW and MINI readings in FHEM automations
This fhempy module brings BMW and MINI readings into FHEM, a home automation system. It uses official CarData REST requests and the live stream for charge, range, doors and other fields the car supplies. BMW’s personal API is free, with an active connected-services contract still required.
Install fhempy in FHEM, create your personal CarData client and follow the login link shown by the module. The author has tested it only with fake BMW API and MQTT servers, so use it as experimental until you confirm real readings. It is read-only and cannot lock the car or start climate control.
