One game library and launcher on Android handhelds
ES-DE (EmulationStation Desktop Edition) is a frontend that lists your games across many systems with artwork and metadata, and launches each in the right emulator. It does not install emulators or include games. On Android it can also act as the home app.
Its Android documentation has a table of handhelds it was tested on, including Anbernic RG405, RG406, RG505, RG556 and RG557, Retroid Pocket 3 to 5, Flip and Mini, the AYN Odin family and Thor, and AYANEO Pocket models. It needs 64-bit Android 10 or later.
The desktop source is MIT-licensed on GitLab. The Android release is paid and partly closed source, available through Patreon, the Samsung Galaxy Store and Huawei AppGallery.
