FirmwareStart Rapid Cooling with a physical button
Eight Sleep Button turns an M5Stack AtomS3R into a physical trigger for the Pod's Rapid Cooling cycle. It calls Eight Sleep's private cloud API directly, so no Home Assistant server is needed.
You need the exact AtomS3R board, Wi-Fi and an account with Rapid Cooling access. The documented setup runs on macOS, and the author has checked activation on hardware but leaves some wall-power and overnight behavior unverified. The board retains a refresh token in unencrypted flash, so keep physical access private.
