Capture photos straight into your editing workflow
Connect a supported Canon or Sony camera by USB to shoot directly into darktable. Review each capture on your computer, adjust supported camera settings and set up timed shots or exposure brackets, then continue editing in the same app.
Use a Linux build with the libgphoto2 camera connection library and the camera’s required USB or PC Remote mode. The named models have capture support in that backend; this does not mean each body was tested with darktable. Live view and controls vary, and older Linux packages may lack support for newer cameras.

Canon EOS and PowerShot cameras

Sony Alpha, ZV and RX100 cameras
