CouchTV
AppUse a local launcher and phone remote on The Frame
CouchTV provides a TV interface and browser remote backed by a local computer bridge. Its Samsung port was tested on a2021 Frame and opens as an app, rather than replacing Samsung Home. Setup requires Developer Mode, a signed Tizen app and a bridge that stays running; optional AI integrations are separate.
- Control it from my smart home
- Install apps from outside the store
- Control supported TV functions from a browser
- Open a custom TV interface through a local bridge
