Root access and remote controls for select Samsung TVs
Samsung TV root gives administrator access and remote controls to select Samsung TVs over your local network. This entry covers only the project's owner-tested QN55QN90BAFXZA on firmware T-PTMAKUC-1602.3 and QN75QN90FAFXZA on T-RSMFAKUC-0090-1203.0. Other sizes, regions and firmware builds are not established here.
You need Tizen Studio and Developer Mode. Its command-line tools can control TV inputs, remap remote buttons and collect diagnostics, with some controls differing by model. Root access is temporary; an optional controller on your computer can acquire it again after the TV restarts. Root commands change privileged TV state, so use a trusted network and review each operation before running it.
