CoolReader
AppUse another reading app on older Tolinos
CoolReader is an Android reading app with its own page engine and adjustable fonts, margins and page controls. It opens DRM-free books stored on the reader, and its code includes screen support for the original Shine and Vision 4 HD.
You need a way to install Android apps on the Tolino. Screen refresh depends on firmware: an open report says pages stopped refreshing after a Tolino firmware update, so try it before relying on it.
- Use a different reading app
- Read comics, PDFs and more formats
- Desktop versions for Linux and Windows
