Fan curves, keyboard lighting and temps on your Chromebook
A desktop app for Chromebooks running Linux or Windows with custom firmware. It shows CPU temperature and fan speed with graphs, sets custom fan curves and profiles, controls keyboard backlight and RGB, remaps the keyboard on Windows, and changes the activity light colour on some Chromebooks. It talks to the Chromebook's embedded controller through ectool.
On Fedora and Ultramarine it installs from the Terra repository; on Debian, Ubuntu and Arch it uses the project's package repository or release packages; Windows needs CoolStar's CROS-EC driver first and macOS needs an ectool binary. The README doesn't say which boards were tested, so which functions work depends on the board's embedded controller. Changing fan curves can cause overheating or instability, and the README disclaims warranty.
