APISend car data to your own MQTT broker and web tools
CarConnectivity is a self-hosted vehicle platform with connectors and plug-ins for MQTT messaging, a web interface and other applications. Its Volkswagen Group portal connector reads owner data exports; its Škoda connector uses the new official MyŠkoda API. Neither route removes the car’s dependence on the maker’s cloud.
Install the platform with the connector and output plug-ins you need, or use its Home Assistant add-on. Portal readings are read-only and arrive roughly every 15 minutes. Škoda’s API supports a smaller set of controls, needs a key from the MyŠkoda app, and preserves the car’s connected-service entitlements.
