Plug-inBring your car’s exported readings into Home Assistant
VW Group EU Data Act puts your car’s battery, charging and other available readings in Home Assistant, a home automation system. It downloads the files generated by Volkswagen Group’s owner data portal, usually around every 15 minutes. It cannot send commands to the car.
You need an eligible European vehicle, a linked brand account and an active continuous data request on the portal. The portal is free and separate from paid remote-control plans, but it only supplies data the car uploads. The integration is beta, and SEAT’s latest sign-in change needs its newer beta build.
