Self-hostedSend your car’s readings to your own MQTT broker
BMW CarData MQTT Bridge copies the official BMW stream to an MQTT broker you run, where home automation tools can use it. It can publish raw readings, separate sensor topics and Homie data for openHAB.
You need Linux, Docker, an MQTT broker and free personal CarData for an eligible car with an active connected contract. This continuation adds Homie and openHAB support. The BMW cloud connection receives readings and cannot send vehicle commands.
