AppRead hybrid battery data and Toyota fault details
B.E.T.S.Y. reads hybrid battery measurements and Toyota diagnostic sub-codes on an Android phone. It gets the readings from the car through an ELM327 adapter plugged into the OBD-II port, using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. It needs no Toyota account or connected-services plan.
Install the project's APK and pair the adapter before opening the app. A stock US-market 2009 Prius is confirmed; the 2010–2015 Prius implementation and same-era Lexus hybrids remain untested in the README. It reads the car without clearing faults, running actuator tests or writing settings, and optional scan sharing publishes diagnostic captures to the project's repository.
