Assistant
Plug-inAsk an AI about the book you're reading
Assistant adds AI questions, translation and summaries to KOReader, an alternative reading app. It sends the text you select, plus the context an action needs, to an AI provider you set up, and can save chats as Markdown notes on the reader.
Check which book text each action sends. Cloud AI and optional web search can cost money; Ollama lets you use a model on a computer or server you control.
- Read PDFs and comics in a better app
- Translation and summaries
- Chats saved as notes
- Optional web search
