AirPods Mic Bridge
AppMute Windows calls with the AirPods play gesture
AirPods Mic Bridge turns a Windows play/pause command into a microphone-mute toggle while an application is using the AirPods microphone. It shows the system mute state and reads the existing input-level meter without recording audio.
The tested setup is Windows 11 x64 with AirPods 4 and the MagicAAP driver enabled; the same behavior without that driver is unverified. Any play/pause key can trigger the toggle while it is armed, and an application's own mute indicator can differ from Windows system mute.
Public source is available, but no project-wide reuse license is stated.
