Command lineRestore Pro 3 audio on one Realtek Bluetooth adapter
This installer addresses AirPods Pro 3 pairing without working audio on Bazzite with a Realtek RTL8821CE adapter. It loads newer firmware into the computer's Bluetooth controller and, when needed, builds a Linux btusb module that recognizes USB adapter 13d3:3558.
The author tested Bazzite 44 with BlueZ 5.87 and AirPods Pro 3. Setup requires root, kernel headers, an unsigned module with Secure Boot disabled, and a full shutdown; support for other adapters is untested.
Public source is available, but no project-wide reuse license is stated.
- Fix audio quality, delays and playback failures
- Rebuilds the host Bluetooth module after kernel updates
- Stops patching once the kernel supports it
