ACSM Input
Plug-inDownload library ebook loans inside calibre
ACSM Input lets calibre, a free desktop ebook library app, open the .acsm download ticket you get for a library loan and fetch the EPUB or PDF behind it. The book keeps its Adobe copy protection, and you copy it to an e-reader authorized with the same Adobe ID, like a Nook.
You need an Adobe ID that's also set up on the reader, and loans still expire as usual. A Nook owner reported it working after switching from anonymous authorization to an Adobe ID; the plug-in's own USB authorization is experimental.
