FirmwareDiagnose faults on a real ZX Spectrum
ZX Diagnostics runs hardware tests on an original Spectrum to help locate RAM, ROM and paging faults. Use the released diagnostic ROM with a compatible ROM interface, or load the smaller TAP version on a partly working computer. The tape tests cannot check the memory occupied by their own program and need enough working hardware to load. Results narrow a fault; they do not repair a damaged component.
