YouTube AdFree for webOS
AppFilter YouTube ads and skip sponsor segments
YouTube AdFree runs YouTube's TV interface with filters for video and interface ads. Optional SponsorBlock queries add community-marked sponsor skipping, and the remote's green button opens playback and filtering settings.
Uninstall the official YouTube app first because both use the same app ID, then install through webOS Dev Manager or Homebrew Channel. Root is optional; Developer Mode installs need renewal before the displayed timer expires, commonly 999 hours today, and YouTube changes can still cause ads, login prompts or playback failures.
