Plug-inUse local cleaning controls with optional cloud maps
Xiaomi Vacuum adds local MIoT controls, status sensors and an interactive vacuum card to Home Assistant, a self-hosted home automation system. Cleaning commands use the robot’s IP address and token, while optional maps come from a Xiaomi Home account.
The author says map support has been verified on an iJai v17 robot only, with other supported models inherited and untested. A listed Dreame model still needs firmware exposing the local protocol, and DreameHome-only or MOVAhome-only accounts cannot supply Xiaomi cloud maps.
