Windows Phone Internals
AppUnlock and back up a Lumia phone
Windows Phone Internals unlocks supported Lumia bootloaders and provides tools to back up firmware, flash images and access internal storage over USB. Unlocking is also a prerequisite for installing desktop Windows through the separate Lumia WOA tools.
Use a Windows computer, working Lumia USB drivers and the matching firmware and emergency files. Back up the phone first: unlocking changes its security and can cause data loss or a failed boot. Windows Mobile cannot update while its bootloader is unlocked.
