VIOFO Workbench
Plug-inReview Viofo clips inside Home Assistant
VIOFO Workbench adds a local recording library to Home Assistant, the home automation server. It can copy clips over camera Wi-Fi, import existing files, plot GPS routes, and queue trimmed or combined video exports.
The author calls version 0.1.5 a debug alpha for A119 Mini 2 and A229 Pro. A229 Pro diagnostics show four downloads, but camera, Home Assistant installation, preview playback and moving-route validation remain incomplete; start with copied footage and leave camera-setting writes off.
- Back up clips automatically
- See your route and speed on a map
- View and share clips without the maker's app
- Keep footage off the maker's cloud
- Home Assistant connectivity and sync entities
- Front, rear and three-view exports
- Local GPX export and optional map background
