Insignia Fire TV Home Toolkit

Firmware

Simplify Home on an Insignia NS-55DF710NA19

Build a simple home screen for an Insignia NS-55DF710NA19 and use its remote for apps and TV inputs. The toolkit also provides reversible package-disable scripts for the tested Fire OS 6.7.1.1 firmware.

A computer with ADB and Android build tools is required. After each TV reboot, run the fast-Home helper again from the computer or Home returns with a delay. Amazon’s protected launcher remains enabled.

Review each disabled package: the defaults affect Prime Video, Alexa and live-TV functions, while some protected advertising and telemetry services remain. Use only the documented model and firmware.
