throttled restores configurable CPU power and temperature limits when firmware keeps resetting them on supported Intel laptops. It runs locally as a Linux service and supports separate battery and AC profiles. Compatibility depends on the exact CPU, firmware and kernel; confirm the cause before installing. Incorrect register settings can cause instability or hardware damage.
