Tesserae

Dashboard

Turn the screen into a calendar and home dashboard

Tesserae builds dashboard screens from sources you set up, like calendars, RSS feeds, weather and Home Assistant (a home automation hub). Its plug-in for KOReader, a free reading app, downloads each screen from your Tesserae server and reports the reader's battery level.

You need a computer or server running Tesserae. On Android readers like the Nook it refreshes only while awake and doesn't replace the sleep screen, and Nook hardware testing isn't documented.
