Tesla-GeoGDO uses location messages to operate a garage through a local ratgdo controller, Home Assistant, or Homebridge. Home Assistant is a home automation server; Homebridge connects accessories to Apple Home.
You need a running server, a supported local controller, and a phone or car location feed. Direct myQ cloud control is explicitly unsupported, and the reliability of arrival actions depends on the location feed.
