STRIDE
AppRun a Gen 6 treadmill with no iFIT login
STRIDE is an Android app that replaces iFIT on a Gen 6 NordicTrack console. It talks to the motor board over USB, so the belt and incline work with no login, subscription or internet, and it offers five screen layouts and guided walks. It can publish speed, incline, distance, heart rate and calories to Home Assistant, a self-hosted home-automation hub, over MQTT, and pairs with Zwift over Bluetooth FTMS.
Setup is a factory reset, privileged mode, disabling the iFIT packages and installing over ADB. The README says it is proven on one NordicTrack C 1750 and that Gen 7 / iFIT 2.0 updates reportedly close the privileged-mode route it depends on. SAFETY.md says the safety key is the emergency stop, that STRIDE drives the incline but only suggests a speed, and that automatic stops ramp the belt down.
