Add memory, cartridges and sound to a C64
Sidekick64 turns a supported Raspberry Pi and cartridge board into a C64 expansion. Its menu loads programs and cartridge images, while configurable features emulate memory expansions, sound devices and replacement KERNALs.
Use a Pi 3A+, 3B+ or Zero 2 with the documented board and SD-card files. Assembly requires soldering unless you obtain a built unit. SID and KERNAL replacement need additional internal connections; the hardware design has a noncommercial license.
