Plug-inScan supported OpticFilm models on Linux
SANE supplies a USB scanner backend for specific OpticFilm hardware revisions. Its complete-support list includes the 8100 (USB 07b3:130c), 7600i (07b3:0c3b) and 8200i (07b3:130d). Compatible free scanning programs can use these scanners on Linux.
Read the USB identifier before installing; a matching product name alone is insufficient. The GL128 8200i SE (07b3:1825) has basic support without infrared in current upstream code, which older distribution packages may lack.
