Self-hostedSend iSMART data to your own automations
SAIC MQTT Gateway reads MG's private iSMART API and publishes readings through MQTT, a messaging system used by home automations. It can feed Home Assistant, a home-automation server, as well as trip logging and route-planning services.
You need a server, MQTT broker and an active regional iSMART entitlement; this does not bypass paid connected services. MG commands vary by model, and charging start is not universally reliable. MAXUS support requires a development-source build and has only been tested by logging into an account without a car.
