Runsten records trips, charging sessions and costs on your own server using Volvo’s official APIs or Polestar’s official Data Portal. Its web dashboard shows past journeys, energy estimates and battery capacity trends, with exports and MQTT for home automation.
You need a Linux server and your own Volvo developer application or Polestar Data Portal credentials. This draft covers battery-electric cars with included remote access, and Polestar support remains beta with real-car validation incomplete.
