Roku privacy settings
RecipeTurn off viewing recognition and personalized ads
Use Roku's built-in privacy controls to stop its automatic recognition of TV-input content and turn off Roku's ad personalization for your signed-in Roku account. No extra app is installed.
The settings do not stop all streaming activity collection or control every channel provider. Players have ad settings, while TV-input recognition applies to Roku TVs; menu wording varies with software and region.
