Renault for Sowel
Plug-inUse your Renault in home and solar charging routines
Sowel, a self-hosted home automation system, can read your Renault’s battery, range, mileage and charging state through the private MyRenault API. This plug-in adds those readings and a remote wake command to Sowel. With Sowel’s separate smart charging recipe and a supported charger, they can guide charging from solar surplus and a minimum charge before departure.
You need Sowel, a MyRenault account and working connected services for the car. The author checked a Rafale plug-in hybrid, including waking it with a remote lights command and changing its charge limit; other Renault EVs and plug-in hybrids remain untested. Accounts requiring an emailed verification code cannot sign in.
