MCP serverLet an AI assistant search and read your notebooks
reMarkable MCP lets an AI app browse your documents, read typed text, render notebook pages and work with PDFs and EPUBs. MCP is a standard way for AI apps to use outside data.
It connects through your reMarkable account, a USB cable, SSH or a folder of saved files. The AI app you use sees the content it asks for, and upload, move and delete tools are on by default unless you start it in read-only mode.
Local routes need no cloud, but can fall back to it unless you turn that off. Paper Pro ink placement is best effort, open reports mention clipped strokes, and Paper Pro Move isn't covered.
