FirmwareBuild your own local garage controller
rat-ratgdo supplies circuit diagrams and PCB designs for a controller that runs ESPHome ratgdo firmware. It reads the opener's wired serial bus and obstruction sensor, then connects locally to Home Assistant, a home automation system you run yourself.
You need to source the parts, build the board and flash the matching firmware. The author expects soldering and schematic-reading skills; the basic design covers door control and obstruction sensing rather than every optional ratgdo accessory.
