Command linePrepare factory map and screen updates from a terminal
psa-update checks your VIN against the private update service used by the maker’s desktop app, then downloads the factory firmware and maps offered for your car. It can resume downloads and prepare an update USB drive from Windows, macOS or Linux.
You need a NAC or RCC infotainment unit and an empty FAT32 USB drive, usually 32 GB. The program does not format the drive or fix faulty packages supplied by Stellantis, and recent owners report firmware installation failures that also occur with the official updater. Applying the files in the car changes the head unit’s firmware or maps, and a firmware downgrade may be refused.
