AppRecord raw Verity Sense signals for local research
ppg-bp-android records Verity Sense optical and motion streams directly over Bluetooth into rotating files on an Android phone. It can upload completed files to a server you run and collect calibration readings from an Omron Evolv cuff.
You need Android 13 or later, and the cuff is required only for the separate blood-pressure estimation workflow. The app is a research recorder rather than a validated pressure measurement device, and open issues describe incomplete-session upload and repeated-upload problems.
- Keep readings off Polar’s cloud
- Record raw ECG locally
- Keep your own recording files
- Local recording with rotating files
- Self-hosted server transfer
- Cuff calibration capture
