Photo Frame Dashboard and takeover guide
AppTurn a locked photo frame into your own display
This repository contains model-specific instructions for accessing Android on digital frames, backing up storage and replacing the stock launcher with a kiosk browser. It also includes a sample dashboard you can host yourself.
The procedures are not interchangeable across boards sold under similar names. A wrong flash or disabled launcher can lock out access, and some tested frames ship with insecure Android versions or unrestricted root.
- Replace the manufacturer home screen
- Use the display without the stock cloud
- Back up and recover the device
- Backup validation scripts
- Sample kiosk app and dashboard
