Peloton Desk
AppUse your Mac desktop on the bike's screen
Peloton Desk displays a Mac desktop on the original Bike's touchscreen while showing locally read cadence and resistance. A Mac menu-bar companion opens the connection, and optional local speech recognition adds dictation.
Build the Android app and Mac companion using the documented tools, and enable the Mac's screen sharing. The author tested a PLTN-RB1VQ tablet on Android 11, but calls the project a prototype and has not validated long sessions or all reconnection behavior.
- Ride with other apps on the screen
- Mac desktop control from the tablet
- Local speech-to-text dictation
- Recent cadence and resistance charts
