Use a Galaxy Tab as a Linux second screen
Orbiscreen creates an extra Linux display and streams it to an Android tablet, with touch and pen input returning to the computer. This route uses KDE Plasma 6 on Wayland and the Android companion app.
Install matching Linux and Android releases, then check the detected display and input paths. Native KDE display capture uses PipeWire and needs a compatible video encoder; pen input may need uinput permissions. Check your exact Galaxy Tab: compatibility follows the documented Android 8+ requirements, without separate test reports for these models. Use a trusted local network.
