OpenVitals
AppPut watch readings in Health Connect without the cloud
OpenVitals is an Android health app that reads a Garmin watch directly over Bluetooth. It writes activity and health records to Health Connect, Android's shared health-data store, and keeps Garmin-only values such as Body Battery on the phone. The app removes Internet permission from its manifest.
You need a compatible watch and grant the record permissions you want. Garmin support is experimental, with evidence for the vivoactive 5 and Instinct 2X. Older connections have feature limits.
