OpenStrap Edge
AppRecovery and sleep scores, synced to your phone's health app
OpenStrap Edge is an Android and iPhone app that reads your WHOOP over Bluetooth and keeps the data on your phone, with no WHOOP account or membership. It adds health-app sync, widgets and automations on top.
WHOOP 4.0 works best; 5.0 and MG support is newer, and some owners report pairing or sync failures on them. On Android you install the APK; on iPhone you join the TestFlight beta, sideload the .ipa or build it from source.
- Keep using it without the membership
- Keep every reading on your own phone
- Use your data in other apps
- Use the vibration for your own alerts
- Live workouts with GPS routes
- Home-screen widgets and automations
