OpenPulse
AppBroadcast live heart rate to cycling equipment
OpenPulse broadcasts your watch's live heart rate as a standard Bluetooth sensor. Training apps and bike computers can receive it without a phone relay or a Samsung Health export.
It needs Wear OS 5 or newer and an exclusive exercise session, so you can't record a separate Samsung Health or Strava workout at the same time.
An open report describes a blocked Bluetooth broadcast on the Ultra 2, so Ultra 2 support isn't claimed.
- Use your readings in other apps
- Keep health readings off Samsung's cloud
- Standard BLE Heart Rate Service broadcast
- Background live heart-rate transmission
