Plug-inConnect a Pentair pool bus directly to openHAB
This binding connects openHAB, a home-automation server, to a Pentair pool system’s RS-485 bus. Read temperatures and equipment status, control supported circuits and heating, and expose controller schedules without a cloud account.
You need a suitable serial or network-to-RS-485 adapter and a correctly installed bus connection. The author tested EasyTouch and documents IntelliTouch and SunTouch as compatible; IntelliCenter uses a different protocol. Pump settings are read-only while a pool controller is the active bus master, and chemistry equipment is monitored rather than controlled.
