OBD2 to MQTT
FirmwareSend car readings home through a cellular ESP32 bridge
OBD2 to MQTT reads an ELM327 Bluetooth adapter and sends vehicle sensors to an MQTT message broker for Home Assistant, a home automation server. It includes configurable PIDs and calculated trip distance, speed and fuel consumption.
Flash one of the supported ESP32 modem boards and supply a SIM with mobile data. Wi-Fi is used for setup, while the current broker connection uses the cellular modem; the BLE build and Classic Bluetooth builds need different boards.
