Command lineUnpack and edit Novatek dashcam firmware
NTKFWinfo opens Novatek firmware update files so you can inspect their partitions and resources. It can unpack, modify and repack supported update containers, including their checksums.
Use a Linux computer and the exact manufacturer's firmware file for your camera. The tool supports particular Viofo and Vantrue firmware families, not arbitrary chip dumps. Flashing a modified image is a separate step that changes the dashcam's software and can leave it unable to boot.
