Command linePrepare GPS-tagged dashcam clips for Mapillary
novatek-mapillary reads embedded Novatek GPS records and prepares geotagging descriptions for Mapillary, a street-level imagery service. It can exclude clips around parking stops or chosen private locations and can re-encode an archive while keeping a GPS track.
Install the Python command line tool and work from a copied card. The author tested an unnamed Vantrue camera over a long trip; uploading is a separate action, and the pruning report itself contains sensitive locations.
