Nova Video Player
AppBuild a movie library from your files and NAS
Nova Video Player organizes videos from local storage, USB drives and network shares into a TV library. It reads the files directly, fetches optional movie and show details from online metadata services, and can sync watched status through an optional Trakt account.
Install the Android TV app, grant file access and add the folders or network shares you own. No separate media server is required, but HDR, audio passthrough, subtitles and high-bitrate playback still depend on the device and network.
- Play my own movies and shows
- SMB, UPnP, FTP, SFTP and WebDAV sources
- Movie and episode metadata
- Optional Trakt synchronization
- External-player integration
