Noson
AppControl Sonos and stream Linux desktop audio
Noson is a desktop controller that reads rooms, queues and music services from Sonos speakers over your local network. On Linux it can also send the computer’s PulseAudio output to the speakers and respond to desktop media controls.
Install a supported package or build the Qt application. Discovery needs local network access, and streaming-service sign-ins can fail independently of local playback.
- Keep your speakers working without Sonos's app
- Play audio from your computer or phone
- Play any music service or your own files
- Linux desktop media controls
- Local file and computer audio streaming
