AppReplace the X80J home screen with a simple launcher
NC-OS provides a custom Android TV launcher and profile-specific cleanup scripts for Sony KD-50X80J. It offers a focused home screen while preserving a documented restore route.
The author tested a BRAVIA4KVH2 board running Android12. Setup uses Windows PowerShell, Java17, Android SDK35 and ADB; other Sony models are not covered by this hardware claim.
