MeshCore replaces the radio firmware with a different mesh system. Choose companion firmware for messaging through a client, or use supported repeater and room-server builds to extend a MeshCore network.
Everyone you want to reach needs compatible MeshCore nodes and radio settings. It does not join a Meshtastic network. Select the exact board and firmware role in the official flasher, preserve your existing configuration, and follow the board-specific update procedure. Companion applications have their own source and license terms.
